Enjoy Shinshu Soba and Local Flavors with a View of Mount Komagatake

This dining spot is located at the roadside station, Taki no Sato, and offers finely cut soba noodles that pair perfectly with a fragrant dipping sauce. Although it operates on a self-service style with a ticket vending machine, guests can enjoy carefully prepared local dishes such as freshly fried kakiage and sauce katsudon. The spacious atmosphere allows for a relaxing meal while gazing at the Central Alps through the windows, making it a perfect stop during your travels.

You can buy tickets from a vending machine, making it easy to order even for first-timers. The soba noodles are thin, firm, and beautifully presented, with a rich aroma of the dipping sauce that makes you want to eat more. The freshly fried sauce katsu has a crispy coating and a sweet sauce that pairs perfectly. When enjoyed as a set, the portion balance is good, satisfying both your stomach and your heart. You can relax and savor your meal while looking at the mountain range through the glass, making it perfect for a break during a drive. Despite being self-service, the food is authentic and provides a level of satisfaction that you wouldn't expect from a roadside station's cafeteria.
