In a stylish space that has been renovated from the former elementary school, I felt excited the moment I walked in. After completing the payment, the staff brings the food to your seat, allowing you to sit back and wait comfortably. The bowl piled high with fluffy boiled shirasu (young sardines) was so generous that I couldn't see the rice underneath, which was impressive. The subtle sweetness of the shirasu and the aroma of the shiso leaves were a perfect match, and I couldn't stop eating. Eating while looking at the schoolyard from the outdoor terrace made me feel the relaxed atmosphere of the island even more. After the meal, I enjoyed exploring the interior and the attached local product corner, fully savoring the time that felt characteristic of Awaji Island.
