In a quiet house restaurant that opens only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the atmosphere standing in the middle of the rice fields is very calming. The course made with the blessings of Fukui, gathered by the chef from the mountains and the sea, was exciting as the seasonal aromas spread with each dish. A variety of ingredients such as wild vegetables, sweet shrimp, and Ara Island pork appeared one after another, and with each bite, the scenery of Fukui seemed to come to mind. The greenery spreading outside the window and the chirping of wild birds were pleasant, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed time. Even the finishing lemon cake and house-roasted iced coffee were carefully prepared, leaving a refreshing sensation in the mouth. Even during a lunch lasting just under three hours, we were never bored, and by the time we left, both our bodies and hearts were satisfied.

As I entered the house surrounded by rice fields, a calm atmosphere spread out, and I felt excited. The chef handled everything from cooking to serving by himself, and his meticulousness was evident in each dish. The course, which combined locally sourced wild vegetables, seafood, and vegetables, seemed to showcase the scenery of Fukui with each item. Dishes like taro flan and butternut squash cake exceeded my expectations in flavor, making me involuntarily exclaim. The takeout risotto bento was piping hot the moment I received it, packed with ingredients, and I was very satisfied. While gazing at the greenery and wild birds outside the window, I was able to enjoy a wonderful time slowly savoring the aftertaste of the meal.

We have prepared a dish that gives you a sense of the satoyama of Fukui Prefecture. The menu is designed to give you a sense of the nature of the region, including homegrown, fermented, and self-collected foods. About 12 dishes (the number of dishes may vary slightly) Dessert and after-dinner drinks are included in the course.
