As you walk along the path from the entrance gate, the beautiful greenery refreshes your spirit. The interior, designed in a traditional Japanese style, has a tea room atmosphere, and both the counter and private rooms provide a calming experience. From the very first dish, the meticulous craftsmanship is evident, and I was moved by the care put into each of the eight small dishes. The aroma of the dashi is wonderful, and the umami layers beautifully in the soup and the dobin mushi. The combination of shellfish, wild vegetables, grilled Spanish mackerel, and the surprising pairing of white sesame paste is full of seasonal delight. Even the steamed sushi and sakura mochi at the end are beautiful, and the presentation, including the dishes, made my heart leap.
