After finishing my visit to the art museum, I naturally took a break at the café inside. It is small, but the view of the greenery in the garden through the window is very calming. The bamboo chiyo dessert combines chestnuts, kuzukiri (starch noodles), mandarin oranges, shiratama (rice dumplings), red bean paste, and black syrup, creating a delightful Japanese dish with a sparkle of gold leaf. The wagashi (Japanese sweets) wrapped in white bean paste with strawberries were also adorable, and the balance of tartness and sweetness was good. The chocolate-flavored cupcake was not overly sweet but had a strong flavor, and the cream on top had a gentle aroma. The matcha was from a long-established tea shop, carefully whisked, and it relaxed my mind.
