A shop with new charms of shaved ice and coffee

Kakigori is a new establishment that has opened on the site of the former popular shaved ice shop, Akawani. The owner learned the craft directly from the owner of Akawani, offering delicate and smooth shaved ice. The shaved ice made with espresso, in particular, has a unique flavor reminiscent of eating a café latte. Fluffy shaved ice that can be enjoyed year-round alongside coffee is gaining attention as a new popular spot.

Upon entering the store, I was relieved to find that I could first settle the payment, allowing me to calmly choose my order. The fluffy ice melts smoothly in my mouth, making me smile involuntarily. The milk flavor, infused with the aroma of sesame, is rich and pairs perfectly with the whipped cream on top. The shaved ice with espresso sauce has a pleasantly bitter accent, making it enjoyable without getting boring until the end. Although it takes a little time as each item is carefully prepared, I appreciate being able to savor the freshly made treats slowly. By the time I went outside, a line had formed, and I truly felt the reason for its popularity.
