I visited for the first time, and the moment I passed through the noren, a comforting atmosphere enveloped me. Sitting at the counter, it was pleasant to see the quiet craftsman and the cheerful young person working in rhythm. The lightly marinated mackerel had a perfect balance of acidity and richness, making me want to have a second helping. The shrimp nigiri was melt-in-your-mouth sweet, and together with the fluffy rice, happiness spread in my mouth. The sea urchin in the Yanagawa-style small pot had a deep, rich broth that lingered gently. I felt that it was a heartwarming place where both locals and travelers could relax and enjoy.
