The storefront feels a bit uninviting, but once you enter, you can relax in a calm space. I ordered mapo tofu for lunch, and it was filled with plenty of cabbage and bell peppers, with tender meat and a sweet and spicy sauce that was exquisite. The almond tofu that came with the set was creamy and perfect for dessert. The black vinegar sweet and sour pork I ordered for dinner was crispy with garlic, and the variety of textures was enjoyable, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The stir-fried pea shoots had a punch from the garlic and chili, which paired well with drinks. Overall, the portions were generous, and every dish was very satisfying.
