An authentic soba restaurant where you can enjoy Kaishamawase

At Koubou Chaihana Soba-dokoro, you can savor the local specialty 'Kaishamawase' in the form of 2:8 soba noodles. The combination of the smooth, thin noodles and the freshly fried, crispy tempura is exquisite. The soba-yu served alongside the noodles is also a particularly special treat.

It is a lovely building designed like a log house, with a calm atmosphere reminiscent of a café. The ticket vending machine at the entrance is easy to understand, and once you take a seat, they promptly serve you water and soba tea. The 2:8 soba has a wonderful aroma, and the cold noodles are firm and provide a pleasant chewiness. The flavor of the dipping sauce is rich, and when combined with wasabi, grated daikon, and green onions, the taste is greatly enhanced. The tempura includes kakiage, bell peppers, pumpkin, maitake mushrooms, and shrimp, all of which pair perfectly with the soba. The meal is concluded with soba-yu (the hot water used to cook the soba), and I felt that the spacious parking lot made it very convenient to use.
