The atmosphere is calm, reminiscent of an old house, and the spacing between seats is generous. The handmade udon is thick and substantial, making it enjoyable to eat. The broth is well-seasoned, and the soy sauce-based flavor is well-balanced, which I really like. The soba is short with a rustic texture, and the tempura is crispy with large vegetables. The sesame-dressed kogomi (fiddlehead ferns) is impressive and brings a comforting, simple taste. The portions are substantial, providing a high level of satisfaction, and the gentle voices of the staff are soothing.
