In a calm bar located underground, you might be startled at first by the entrance, but inside it is very cozy. Whether at the counter or at a table, you can relax whether alone or in a group. They have whiskey, of course, as well as rum and tequila, and if you share your preferences, the cheerful owner will recommend a drink that suits you. You can even sample unfamiliar bottles, leading to new discoveries. I had a gin rickey with a hint of lime, and it tasted exceptionally good when enjoyed in the pleasant atmosphere of the bar. It's located near the Nishijin shopping street, along the Sawara highway, and I feel it's perfect for a second stop after drinking.
