As you pass through the noren (fabric divider), you feel a sense of relief in the calm atmosphere reminiscent of a small Japanese restaurant. There is a counter and a raised seating area where you can relax while watching TV. The appetizer of simmered offal is tender, with plenty of vegetables, and it is very delicious. The wall's recommendations are extensive, and it's no surprise that sashimi orders are frequent. The horse sashimi has just the right amount of fat, and the ankimo (monkfish liver) is enhanced by the vinegar miso. Although only bottled beer is available, the variety of snacks is abundant, and the atmosphere is comfortable, allowing for a pleasant time.
