This is a calm atmosphere shop that can be found a short walk from the station. The small interior has a television, and many customers enjoy drinking leisurely. The counter is lined with homemade side dishes, and my eyes are drawn to the stir-fried macaroni and radish leaves, stuffed peppers, and simmered white fish. There are also nanban-zuke (sweet and sour marinated fish), grilled fish, and pickles available, which feel like home-cooked meals and are comforting. Sipping on Kanmiyou shochu, I am enveloped in a nostalgic atmosphere that is pleasant. The owner is kind, and you can feel that the place has been loved for a long time.
