This Japanese restaurant is just a short walk from Shiga Station, and the spacious interior has both tables and tatami seating, allowing for a relaxed experience. Sitting by the window, you can see the train tracks and the lake, which enhances the feeling of travel and makes it even more enjoyable. The crispy tonkatsu set meal had sauce that soaked well into the coating, and with every bite, the flavor spread. The tempura we ordered together was lightly fried, and I was happy that it came with chawanmushi (steamed egg custard). The small side dishes and miso soup, which change every time, had a homely taste that was comforting and delicious. The menu is also extensive, making it fun to choose.
