The menu is wide-ranging, from Japanese cuisine to Chinese, and I was excited about what to order. The cold soba noodles have a strong texture, and when slurped with the fragrant dipping sauce, it is incredibly refreshing. The freshly fried small shrimp and oyster fritters are crispy, and they pair perfectly with tartar sauce and Japanese mustard. The meat in the katsudon is thick yet tender, and the sweet and savory broth seeps into the rice, creating a delightful flavor. The rich miso soup and homemade pickled vegetables have a presence that goes beyond mere side dishes, and I couldn't put my chopsticks down until the end. The restaurant has a spacious tatami room and children's chairs, creating a warm atmosphere where you can relax comfortably.
