The quiet café standing in the arcade is filled with the warmth of wood, and the moment you enter, you feel at ease. The aroma of freshly roasted coffee spreads throughout the shop, and jazz flows gently, calming the mind. The coffee, carefully brewed using a siphon method, has a perfect balance of acidity and depth that makes you involuntarily smile. The Hayashi rice made with Hokkaido beef is rich in flavor, and the colorful salad on the side enhances the taste. The cream anmitsu enjoyed after the meal features freshly made shiratama (rice dumplings) that are chewy, and you are surprised by the unexpected compatibility with the coffee. Although it is a small shop, you can forget the time and relax while admiring the intricate decorations, such as stained glass and a collection of old matchboxes.
