In a calm space renovated from an old folk house, the moment you open the door, the aroma of soba wafts gently. The chewy 100% buckwheat soba has a strong texture, perfectly complementing the rich and sweet flavor of the dipping sauce. The crispy tempura features lightly fried seafood like whiting, making it hard to stop eating. The soba rice, cooked with buckwheat groats and white rice, has a prominent roasted flavor that makes you want to have seconds. The small pudding we had after the meal was smooth and subtly sweet, making it perfect for cleansing the palate. I thoroughly enjoyed even the rich soba broth that I could pour myself, making it a very satisfying meal.
