Located in a quiet place surrounded by mountains and rivers, the shop exudes an elegant atmosphere from its appearance. The innkeeper offers a pick-up service, and I felt warm hospitality from the moment I arrived. I was guided to a private room with a sunken kotatsu, and I was pleased to have a spacious and relaxing environment. The sashimi platter was exceptionally fresh, and the careful preparation of each piece made me smile involuntarily. Dishes such as tonteki (pork steak), chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and grilled fish are a delightful mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, allowing me to enjoy a variety of flavors as I ate. The soba that came out at the end had a great texture and aroma, and it paired perfectly with the condiments, leaving me completely satisfied until the last bite.
