In a calm atmosphere of a bistro bar, I first enjoyed a draft beer from Heartland. The appetizer of potato salad, along with a salad of tuna, onion, and spinach combined with warm tomatoes and bacon, filled me up right from the start. The domestic beef tataki was rich in flavor, and the garlic-scented shrimp was appetizing. The chestnuts in the chicken braised in red wine were comforting, making it a dish that reflected the season. The oil-based pasta, with a combination of squid, lotus root, and mushrooms, had a delightful rhythm in texture that kept me engaged until the end. Highballs and lemon high also paired well, and I was pleased with the cozy atmosphere of the sofa seats and tables for two or four, as well as the bustling counter.
