There is a wide variety of matcha desserts, all of which have a strong aroma. In particular, the matcha parfait has a perfect harmony of bitterness and sweetness, and the chewy texture of the jelly is delightful. The parfait combined with tofu is also a great match, with the smooth mouthfeel highlighting the deliciousness of the matcha bean paste. It is topped with shiratama (rice dumplings), bananas, waffle snacks, and whipped cream, making each bite enjoyable. There are also mini parfaits available for takeout, which become much more luxurious when paired with ice cream or fruit at home. The matcha milk powder dissolves quickly and is easy to make, and the packaging is cute, making it a nice little gift.
