I entered a retro café along a main street that stretches north and south. The moment I opened the door, I was greeted by sofas and lighting that made me feel like I had time-traveled back to the Showa era, which was exciting. Since the style is to order at the counter first, by the time I sat down, I only had to wait for the food, which was very convenient. The omelette rice was wrapped in fluffy, vibrant yellow eggs, and the chicken rice inside was packed with ingredients and had the wonderful aroma of ketchup. The miso soup and salad I ordered alongside were also carefully prepared, offering a comforting, homey taste. I was delighted to be able to relax and enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee after the meal in the calm Showa atmosphere.
