In a small shop on the second floor, you can watch the chef's skillful preparation over the counter, which is exciting. The soup dishes are rich in dashi, and everything from the fragrant grilled items to the crispy fried dishes is carefully prepared and delicious. The vinegared dishes and vegetable preparations are also fresh, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The combination of clay pot rice with chirimenjako (tiny dried sardines) and sansho (Japanese pepper) along with miso soup was particularly impressive. The style of being able to choose your own sake or wine from the refrigerator is also enjoyable, making it easy to lose track of time.
