It's great to have it right next to the transfer gate at Niigata Station, making it easy to stop by. In the triangular sales area at the corner, there are not only station bento boxes but also hot and cold drinks, local sake, and souvenirs. There is a wide variety, from local specialties to classics, making the selection process exciting. The tare-katsu don features tender katsu made from Echigo Mochibuta, with a sweet tare that seeps into the batter, perfectly complementing the shredded cabbage between the rice. The side dishes of red turnip and fuki sansho add a nice accent, making it easy to keep eating. The grilled salmon flake bento has grilled salmon flakes and white sesame on top of kinshi tamago, which has a wonderful aroma and pairs well with local sake.
