The interior is a cozy space with just a small counter, but it is clean and calming. I had a moist type of fried rice and fried chicken from the selectable lunch set. The fried rice is fluffy and not overly seasoned, making it delicious enough that I couldn't stop using my spoon. The hot fried chicken has a crispy coating and is juicy on the inside, and the combination was excellent. The Tianjin rice and black vinegar sweet and sour pork, as well as the twice-cooked pork that I shared with my friend, also had a rich sauce that highlighted the flavors of the ingredients. The thoughtful care of the kind couple who run the place is pleasant, and it is a restaurant where you can fully appreciate the charm of local Chinese cuisine.
