The store, which is found immediately after leaving the station, is spacious and very clean. Bottles of alcohol line the counter and tables, creating an atmosphere typical of an izakaya that lifts the spirits. The first dish that came out was a small serving of fresh scallops, which raised my expectations from the very first bite. Dishes like fluffy dashi omelet and crispy fried chicken are all carefully prepared, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The grilled free-range chicken and chicken neck are simply seasoned but packed with flavor, making me want to keep drinking. I was also able to enjoy a salad full of vegetables and tsukudani made from yamabuki, leaving both my stomach and heart completely satisfied.
