Just looking at the colorful tempura lined up in a corner of the department store basement makes me excited. There are many varieties such as shrimp, okra, and pumpkin, and I can't help but hesitate over which one to choose. The batter is fluffy and crispy, and the sweetness of the vegetables and the savory aroma of the shrimp come through clearly. The special sauce in the bento seeps into the rice, making it impossible to put down my chopsticks until the end. Even when taken home and reheated, the quality of the ingredients stands out, allowing me to enjoy the taste of a specialty shop at home. This is the perfect place to enjoy authentic tempura easily when in Tachikawa.
