A popular restaurant in the Umeda underground shopping mall has arrived! Matsuba Sohonten, which I was looking forward to seeing for some reason. They have been serving kushikatsu in the Umeda underground shopping mall since 1949! Standing style It's hard to enter a restaurant in Umeda for a girl alone. ・・・・ However, Matsuba in Shin-Osaka looked like a place I could go alone, so I went in! The waitress was very nice, and she helped me out when I didn't know what to do. First of all, let me have a drink! Draft beer, sake, wine (red/white), red ball punch, Kaku highball, chu-hai, 400 yen each Shochu (barley/potato) 350 yen Oolong tea 200 yen I thought about drinking from noon, but I had some work to do, so I decided to have oolong tea. The men around us are enjoying kushikatsu with beer in their hands! Kushikatsu are Beef skewer, wiener, potato, 100 yen each Tomato, shiitake mushroom, green pepper, quail, onion, eggplant, brick, squid, squid, shrimp, tuna - 120 yen each Camembert cheese 150 yen Wakadori chicken 160 yen Tomatoes and shiitake mushrooms are limited to Shin-Osaka Several kushikatsu skewers are lined up on the bat in front of you. You can take from there, or you can order what you want to eat normally. Some of the items in the bat are already cold, but you can have them re-baked! It means they fry it again. Now that I understand the system, I will eat the kushikatsu while eating the cabbage! Kisses Tomato Quail Beef skewer chicken onion Kisses are freshly deep-fried and crunchy......so soft and fluffy! Tomatoes are sweet and delicious when cooked! The quail is consistently delicious! I was surprised that the beef skewers were only 100 yen! I can eat as many as I want! I was lucky enough to get a freshly fried wakadori chicken with bones! It was so juicy, it was like eating a tulip! And the onions are sweet and go well with the sauce! The sauce is not too sweet and goes well with any ingredients! We also have soy sauce, mustard soy sauce, salt, and flavorings, so you can arrange it however you like! All of them are light and easy to eat! Even though they are fried twice, they are not greasy at all! I can go here alone! I'll visit again!
