As you progress along the mountain path, a tranquil café surrounded by trees appears. After taking off your shoes at the entrance and climbing the stairs, you are guided to a second-floor seat filled with the warmth of wood. The grilled mackerel sushi is fragrant, and the combination of its thick flesh and soft vinegared rice is superb. The soba noodles infused with plum have a subtle acidity that is refreshing, and they pair perfectly with the smooth sesame tofu. Enjoying matcha and traditional Japanese sweets after the meal allows you to further savor a leisurely time. Spending a moment while gazing at the quiet mountains and the distant sea was a wonderful experience that made me forget the everyday.
