Just seeing the fragrant smoke rising from the kitchen truck at the garage tavern that opens on weekends lifts my spirits. You can order skewers of both chicken and pork from a single piece, and you can choose from salt, sauce, or miso, allowing for a detailed enjoyment of your preferences. The thighs and liver are grilled to a fluffy texture, and I was surprised by the exquisite cooking and seasoning when I left it up to the chef. There are also side dishes like fried foods and offal stew, and when you order them between grilled items, you can't put your chopsticks down. The lemon sour made with Kinmiya and Hoppy goes down smoothly and pairs well with the cool air of the garage. Drinking while chatting with the owner about movies and cars in a space filled with hobby items felt like spending time in a secret base, and it was the best.
