The Kusatsu branch of Yakitori Akiyoshi, which originated in Fukui Prefecture, seems to be a beloved local restaurant. I had passed by the restaurant many times and this was my first visit. The pork and beef skewers looked delicious, and this time I ordered something other than chicken. The young skin, in particular, was grilled to a crisp and fluffy texture. The menu was served promptly and all the savory grilled dishes were delicious. We look forward to our next visit.
