We strolled along the old highway in Awakei and came here to have lunch. I was told about a nearby Japanese sweets store called Tatamiya. It was a late lunch on a weekday, not during the tourist season, but they graciously allowed me to enter the restaurant alone. The food was carefully prepared and tasted wonderful. What made me especially happy was that they welcomed me in the absence of other customers and served me excellent food.
