I had a great time looking for souvenirs at the shop inside the building. There was a wide variety of seafood and river products on display, making the selection process exciting. There were also samples available, which made it easy to find what I liked. The simmered clams had a deep umami flavor and a pleasant ginger aroma, making them perfect as a side dish for rice. The sweetened walnuts wrapped in fragrant monaka skin had a nice balance of bitterness and sweetness, pairing well with tea. The Kaga temari with raisins had a hint of cinnamon and liqueur, creating a delightful blend of Japanese and Western flavors.
