When I opened the sliding door with a clatter, a cozy space with just a small counter unfolded before me. The L-shaped seating surrounding the kitchen allows you to see the cooking process, which is exciting. The chef is very cheerful and engages with customers, making it a comfortable place to be. The signature udon has a smooth and gentle texture, evoking a sense of traditional Osaka. The broth, slightly richer than that of Kansai, is aromatic and pairs perfectly with the udon. The freshly fried shrimp tempura is plump and substantial, and its deliciousness brings an involuntary smile to my face.
