The small interior with only a counter has a calming atmosphere, perhaps thanks to its long history. The large chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) that comes out first is wobbly and comforting. The sashimi is thickly sliced, and each piece is fresh and aromatic. There are also various dishes like crab shell gratin and shirako ponzu, which keep the chopsticks moving. The fluffy tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) and homemade salted fish pair excellently with sake and beer. Enjoying casual conversations with the chef is also fun, allowing for a relaxed and satisfying time until the very end.
