As I passed through the entrance of the garden, I was enveloped in a calm, traditional atmosphere that made me feel at ease. As I walked along the path, the view of Mount Tsugaru from the engawa (veranda) was stunning, and I found myself lingering longer than intended. Inside the Western-style building, there is a retro café that makes you feel as if you've time-traveled back to the Taisho era just by sitting comfortably. The combination of the crispy apple pie and fragrant matcha was surprisingly well-matched, bringing a smile to my face. In the exhibition space, there are old furnishings and materials on display, and I appreciate that I can experience not only the garden but also the culture. It's a wonderful spot where I discover something new every time I take a walk.
