Upon entering the retro atmosphere of the restaurant, the aroma of soy sauce and soba spreads gently. Here, the set of soba and sauce katsu-don is the signature dish. The soba is rich in fragrance and has a firm texture, while the broth has a gentle dashi flavor and a subtle sweetness that is pleasant. The katsu is thick, perfectly fried, and the sauce is not too heavy, enhancing the meat's umami. Small side dishes and pickles are served, and you can also enjoy tofu, simmered dishes, and eggplant ohitashi. In a calm space lined with folk crafts and old tools, you can savor your meal slowly.
