The long-lasting atmosphere of a traditional Japanese restaurant is pleasant, and I feel excited the moment I open the door. There is also a sushi counter, and the seating arrangement is just right, with a lovely courtyard ambiance. A large hot green tea cup and a hand-rolled wet towel are served first, which is comforting. I enjoyed a Shokado bento, and the tempura of shrimp and pumpkin was warm and crispy, making me very satisfied. The sashimi of tuna and yellowtail, as well as the scallops, were fresh, and I also love the careful flavors of the dashi omelet and Saikyo grilled fish. The small bowls of simmered dishes, egg tofu, yukari rice, red miso soup, and pickles are all well-prepared, and I am happy to have the option to choose sushi.
