It was a shop located right in front of the castle, making it easy to find. Inside, there were old pieces of furniture arranged, creating a calm atmosphere where I could relax. The cold kishimen was served in a bucket filled with ice, and the dipping sauce was also nicely chilled, making it deliciously refreshing. The hot pot miso-nikomi kishimen was bubbling hot, and along with eggs, thin fried tofu, and green onions, shiitake mushrooms and fish cakes also came out from within. The noodles had just the right amount of chewiness and paired well with the miso. The ayu kamameshi had a whole ayu fish on top, and the aroma of burdock combined with the seasoning of the rice was quite satisfying.
