The aroma of charcoal wafts through the air from the shichirin, and with each grilling, my appetite grows. The tongue salt and harami have just the right amount of chewiness, releasing more flavor with each bite. The kalbi is not overly fatty, pairs well with the sauce, and is hard to stop eating. Changing the flavor with grated garlic or homemade gochujang brings a different deliciousness. The sesame oil-based dressing on the green salad has a good balance of sweetness and acidity, making it perfect for a palate cleanser. The lively interactions with the friendly proprietress are enjoyable, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
