It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the staff's warm hospitality makes me feel at ease. There are counter seats and tatami mat seating, and calming jazz plays in the background. There are cute containers for traditional sweets and a tank with loaches, which gives a nostalgic feeling. The rice served in a wooden container arrives with the irresistible aroma of freshly cooked rice. The small dishes like potato salad, pickles, and chilled tofu are carefully prepared and pair well with the main dish and soup. The grilled mackerel rice is enjoyable to eat with condiments and soup poured over it, and I was satisfied even with the drink after the meal.
