The old-style shop along the mountain path makes you feel excited just by passing through the noren (fabric divider). Once seated, the pleasant aroma of charcoal fills the air, and even the waiting time for the grilled dish is a joy. The eel is crispy and fragrant on the outside, while being fluffy and thick on the inside, which was impressive. The sweet and savory sauce seeps in, making the rice go down easily. Adding condiments or pouring broth changes the flavor, keeping it interesting until the end. With the warm hospitality of the staff and the calm atmosphere, I was able to slowly enjoy the deliciousness.
