I wanted to experience the feeling of traveling abroad.
I tried Moroccan cuisine for the first time.
Everything I ate was really delicious!
I ate until I was full, but there were plenty of vegetables and the spices had no effect on my stomach.
The chef? The owner? was also very friendly, and it was a really lovely restaurant.
The access is a bit inconvenient, but that might also add to the feeling of traveling.
The restaurant is very lively. The father, mother, and staff are all cheerful and kind. The dishes, including the desserts, are all rich in flavor. The food has a warm feeling. There is also a gift shop on the second floor. I wanted to learn more and more about Moroccan cuisine and culture. Immim! Saha!
I ordered the Monacos (lamb prune tagine). It was my first time trying this dish, but I received a detailed explanation about the food, so even my elementary and middle school children were able to enjoy Moroccan cuisine. We also had discussions about Moroccan food, climate, and culture, and we had a great time.
It was my first Moroccan cuisine. I visited with my spouse on a Sunday afternoon, and I am grateful to the restaurant that kindly accommodated our order a la carte instead of the lunch course menu after I prepared by watching the show 'Solitary Gourmet.' Without a doubt, everything was delicious. My first couscous, first mint tea, Moroccan bread, black cheese, and a meat dish with exquisite spices. Everything was excellent. A definite repeat.
The moment I stepped into the restaurant, the aroma of spices instantly made my appetite MAX. With two women experiencing Moroccan cuisine for the first time, we ordered impulsively, saying 'this and that,' to the point where the staff worriedly said, 'It might be a bit too much for two people...' In the end, we finished everything and even added dessert. What we ordered included harira soup, hummus, falafel, lamb tagine, vegetable couscous, three types of Moroccan sweets, and orange. The spices were fragrant, yet everything had a gentle flavor, and with each bite, happiness accumulated. There was only lamb tagine for meat, but the vegetables and beans filled us up nicely. Despite that, there was zero bloating, and it felt more like 'Did I detox?' The chef and staff were friendly, full of hospitality. It's definitely a place I want to visit again. On the way home, I was already thinking, 'What should I eat next month...' I will come again! Thank you for the meal.
The staff at the restaurant were all kind, and everything we had was impressively delicious! The appetizers are served in portions for 1 to 2 people, but the main dishes like couscous and tagine are quite large, so it might be fun to go with 4 to 5 people if you want to try a variety of dishes. Thank you for the delicious meal!
Although we sometimes prepare halal food separately for overseas guests, surprisingly few people have actually tried it. We decided to visit and experience it together. We had prune and lamb tagine, and chicken couscous, and the various flavors blended together beautifully, making it very delicious. I had imagined the tagine would taste like a dessert, but it was rich in umami from the meat, vegetables, and dried fruits. There were plenty of vegetables, making it very satisfying to eat. The spices were also just right, encouraging us to keep eating. The appetizers were not just for show; they were made with care. Finally, the mint tea we had at the end was fluffy and mellow in flavor. I definitely want to visit again.
Harira, hummus, tagine, mint tea, it was really delicious. While eating, I couldn't help but smile thinking it was the taste of Morocco. I've been to Morocco four times, but to be able to enjoy this in Japan, what a happy thing. On the first day after a long break, I was a bit anxious, but when I arrived at the restaurant, there were already many customers, which made me feel relieved. It was my first time here, but it seems to be a popular place. The stove was warm. It's a bit far, but I will come again!
All the staff were very pleasant, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was satisfying with its cleanliness and lovely interior. The food, including the salad, soup, main meat dishes, and chicken, was very delicious and had flavors that you can't experience with other dishes. I definitely want to try different menu items next time.
