At a small shop located at the tip of the Nagasakihanto Peninsula, the scent of the sea spreads as soon as you open the door. The fish scooped from the live tank inside the shop is prepared right in front of you, and I couldn't help but be captivated by its translucent flesh. The flounder sashimi is thick yet melts in your mouth, with a gentle sweetness that gradually spreads. The live squid sashimi is so fresh that it changes color on the plate, and the crunchy texture is delightful. The finishing touch, the fish head soup, is rich in umami, and I found myself wanting a second helping as it pairs perfectly with rice. This is a dining spot where you can enjoy fresh seafood while gazing at the quiet harbor, creating lasting memories of your trip.
