One of the pleasures of traveling is to hear about the history of the city at a long-established bar. Umeno Sushi introduced us to "CONCORD21. The atmosphere was typical of the port city of Hakodate, and I felt glad to have come to this bar from the moment I entered. The bar offers a wide selection of craft beers, scotch, bourbon, and hundreds of other beers. The master, who loves to talk, told me that the signboard of a typical bar in Hakodate is a karaoke bar, while an authentic bar is a cocktail bar, which is a reference to the fact that bars in this area, which used to be a flower district, were flooded when the ships of the distant-sea fishing cooperative entered Hakodate. On the way back to the bar, I heard karaoke music from all the stores with bar signs. And they were all very good. I thought I could not sing in Hakodate. LOL! If I go to Hakodate, I want to stop by this bar again.
