If the rice is also free refill, it is even better! The restaurant is located on the second basement floor of Joynas, which is directly connected to Yokohama Station. On this day, we visited at around 8 pm and there were about 15 people waiting outside. However, the restaurant has a fast turnover, so I joined the line without worrying about it. The most popular dish at the restaurant seems to be the Takao set meal, which includes meat, shrimp, vegetables, and other tempura, but I dared to try the ● A large serving of rice for the Meat Tempura Set Meal (1080 yen + 50 yen) Pork, chicken meat and shiso leaves (Picture 3) Burdock root and pumpkin (Image 4) 2 pieces of chicken tempura, eggplant (Image 5) and 6 kinds of 7 pieces of freshly fried tempura will be delivered. They are served with tempura sauce with grated radish or salt on the table. I guess it depends on your taste, but I think salt goes well with deep-fried tempura. The harmony of the crunchy texture and the flavor of the meat is perfect. The heat was just right, and I was impressed that this is a specialty restaurant. And we must not forget the all-you-can-eat mentaiko (cod roe), which comes with kombu (kelp) by default. It is a bit strongly seasoned, but it does not stop me from eating rice. You will want to keep coming back for more, but you will have to pay 150 yen for more rice, so if you eat as much as you do at Yamaya, the bill may be a bit steep. It is rare to find a restaurant that serves set menus even at dinner time, but it is also a great place to accompany drinks.
