The freshly made simmered udon arrives quickly, and I feel excited from the start. The thick Himi udon has a smooth texture that goes down easily, and the more you chew, the more the deliciousness spreads. The miso-based soup is infused with the umami of the ingredients, warming my body gently. It is satisfying with plenty of toppings, including shrimp tempura, fish cake, green onions, and enoki mushrooms. I can enjoy a change in flavor with the chili powder on the table, and I can eat deliciously until the end. Pairing the leftover broth with rice is also a perfect match, and the staff is friendly, making for a pleasant experience.
