Upon entering the restaurant, a calm atmosphere envelops you, and the sense of style shines through in the tableware and background music. The first dish served, edamame marinated in dashi soy sauce, was infused with flavor, making the beer toast go down easily. The grilled mackerel with ponzu sauce paired perfectly with the crispness of the watercress and the rich fat of the mackerel. The sashimi, featuring the creamy flounder and firm striped jack, highlighted the quality of the ingredients when enjoyed with salt and sudachi citrus. The corn tempura and lotus root stuffed and grilled also had a delightful sweetness and aroma, making me want to order more. The subtle attentiveness of the owner, who runs the restaurant alone, was pleasant, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely and delicious time.
