It is an old-fashioned shop, but as you pass through the noren (curtain), a calm atmosphere typical of a traditional soba restaurant spreads out. When I ordered the specialty, garlic chive soba, it arrived shortly, and I was excited by the rising aroma. The moment the noodles entered my mouth, the flavor of buckwheat flour spread, and it was satisfying even without relying on condiments. The boiled garlic chives on top were surprisingly crisp, and slurping them together with the noodles was enjoyable due to the contrast of aroma and texture. Additionally, the dish was accompanied by garlic chive tempura and a salad with strawberries, allowing me to enjoy slightly different flavors. While sipping on iced coffee after the meal, I was very satisfied, even savoring the elegance of the tray.
