At the store, I was drawn in by the savory aroma and bought several types of fish cakes. The satsuma-age with squid tentacles has a slightly smoky flavor, and the taste of the sea spreads with each bite. The fried fish cakes with octopus and burdock have soft ingredients, making the difference in texture enjoyable. The chicken cartilage tempura has a spicy flavor that adds an accent, and the crunchy texture of the fine cartilage is addictive. The kamaboko made with esoteric fish has a firm elasticity, and I was satisfied with the natural sweetness of the fish. It pairs perfectly with rice and is also great as a snack with drinks, bringing smiles to the whole family.
