Saturday, June 1 Cafe Katsudo ☕✨ with Mai-chan ( ) Nice to meet you Mai-chan🥰! Bistro Languedocia. It's a French restaurant with a stylish appearance, located diagonally across from the ice cream roll store. It is located diagonally in front of the ice cream roll shop. We both ordered a one-plate lunch (1,400 yen), thinking about the next sweets. It was a one-plate lunch consisting of six different appetizers, carrot soup, and a baguette. The assortment on this day consisted of ✩Assi Armantier (Braised minced beef and potatoes au gratin) ✩Pate de Campagne (Country style meat pate) Imabari Hamo (Hamo duck) Beignets with Tomato Vinegar Sauce and Tapenade Oven Baked Young Corn ✩Matsuyama Long Eggplant Mousse Braised Chicken Thigh with Raspberry So many difficult names! The menu is locally produced and locally consumed, using vegetables and fish from Ehime. I think I liked the hamo, minced beef and potatoes. The crispy battered, soft and fluffy white duck meat with a dark sour sauce is a perfect match. 🙆‍♀️ The potato dish is also called a gratin, but it is lightly seasoned. The potato one is also called "gratin" but it is lightly seasoned! LOL! The eggplant mousse was a rarity, and I was surprised that they made an eggplant mousse. The soup was a cold soup perfect for the hot summer. It is cool, thick, and delicious. The consomme-flavored (?) gelée was on top. It is good to eat together with consommé-flavored (or consommé-flavored?) jellé. It was delicious, but I don't think I will repeat it, I would not repeat it...(personal opinion) (Just my personal opinion 💦) Next up was the sweets 🤤🍰💗💗.
